Yesterday talks is on : How to overcome your Emotion. We must always watch our emotions, neither suppress it nor express it. Both can bring you to a worst state. Having emotions are a condition of humans, only plants & non-living things do not have emotions. Sometimes when we're unhappy over a particular things and we tried to deceive ourself that we are okay with it but it just dig a hole and putting a seed to let it grow. As times passes, the seed started to grow and everything will go haywired. Example: Two guys are best friends and they had a argument over the rental, eventually one of the guys stab his friend to death and the last words that his friend said was his name. The guy did not know how to overcome his emotions and when he couldn't take it anymore, he killed him.
We don't suppress our feelings neither we express it. When you express your anger and when you started to cool down, you are still the one who has to clean up the mess. Sometimes when you are in a heated argument with your friends, do not take their words seriously because when both parties are in a anger, hurtful words will come out. Do not blame your friends because words in a argument cannot be taken serious.
Anger come in a moments and passed away the next, but it is us who asked them to stay. When you are angry and you vent it out, people around you will start to have a different impression of you. Some might have forgotten it but when somethings goes wrong towards the way he treat you, you started to think that he still hasn't forget the things that happened that day but in actual facts, it's already been flushed out of his mind.
No matter what happened, we must watch our emotions and do not deceive ownself that you are okay with it. You will never know what you will do when you couldn't take it anymore.
After our talks, we started to fold a lotus and write our aspiration in it. Well, I hope everyone's aspiration will come true =D. We proceed to start our personal conversation with ShiXiang who hasn't been coming for very long. Welcome back ShiXiang!!! ShiXiong and Ryan were quarrelling over some political things and I doubt I can write on blog =X I don't want to offend either parties =X Well, we did had fun, didn't we? Thanks ShiXiong & Ryan for that cute presentation xD !! JunHao was rather funny too, he was being dragged out XD !
We ended the fun halfway and we proceed to count our lotus, our Mogallana had 4554 lotus not including Raymond Tham because he did not come and his lotus weren't there. Kassapa is the winner as they had 6591 lotus!! Aren't they great =D !! *bigbig applause* We didn't hit our target, but it's a great effort for having 4554 lotus. Cheer on Mogallana, you all rocks xD !!
After the counting of lotus, we went down to have our MOAT briefing. Firstly please meet at 8am on Saturday & Sunday on the 6th & 7th May. We will be walking around Orchard road. Our motives is to attract attention, telling others that buddhist people aren't boring people or rather we are fun people. We don't just have folks being a buddhist, we do have youths being one and we are proud of it. If anything happened on that day, just walk away from it.
Examples:
If police approached, do not tell them that our in-charge is also a police and when they asked him, Lawrence will just tell them that he don't know them and that they are a bunch of idiots. LOLS !
If gangster approached, please give a call to Lawrence or your leaders.
If punkster approached and wanted the girls' number, please ask him to proceed to Ngee Ann City and looked for ChinWee. LOLS !!
If idiots approached, give him a sweets and ask him to go and buy icecream and they will walk away happily.
Before going to the activities, have your breakfast before you head there. As mogallana, we will be meeting at 7am to have our Breakfast. We are not confirmed where are we meeting at yet, please look out for more details later. Lunch will be provided. If you are sick or tired, please go home immediately and do not give those faces. Do not demoralised your leaders by saying "don't want lah, sian lah, you cock leh, don't do like that lah" Secondary pupils are to go home straight after 6pm on Saturday and back to your exam stress !! JiaYou okay!! I will be having my exams too =(( On Sunday, we are to go home straight after everything ends and back to study. Do not walk and walk with your handphone in your hand and smsing. If not, they will ask you to go home straight.
5 tigers & the fairies will be our leaders this time while Clorine & Ting Ting will be the leaders in the blading team. Clorine will call you if you are choosen for the blading team. Being in Uni, ORD personel are to go at 2pm on Friday afternoon. (Those who are free can help out them)

Hmmm, exams are round the corner. To be exact, my papers are starting from tomorrow and it's be the same as HangQi. I hoped everyone to get their exams passed well with flying colours but no RED please. No one will like to see the report book with a red mark in it. I hate red~ LOLS

SBM~!!! LOLS !!
I was like shouting away " Ehh! SBM !! " ZhenFeng was like blur blur looking around and finally he saw the SBM~!! LOLS !! I'm like so shocked because there's never a car that I have seen had the start of SBM~ LOLS! Isn't this wonderful ? LOLS !
Had our publicity for the camp there, was trying very hard to introduce the camp and I'm so shy~ LOLS ! There's a guy that I will never forget, he said that he will come but yet I never see him in the end. LOLS he bluff me~ Oh well~!!
We went into the Music room to see how the dance pratice had done and I can only put my two palms together and give a big big applause for them x)) Though somehow or another, it's alittle messy but we can see that they are putting alot efforts into it !! Jiayou !!
So after watching the dance, went back with Ryan and he started to crap with ShiXiong LOLS !!! Actually there's a skateboard under Ryan's leg but I never captured it because I forgotten it LOLS !~ I just took the two guys and forgotten that the skateboard is also very important LOLS !!
After the day at Guang Ming Shan, Clorine brought us to Bishan Park to blade, it's a very good experience as the road are wet and it's hard to blade as I can say, but at least I know that if we are at Orchard and our blading skills are not up to standard, we might just bang into anyone. So we must really do well for our blading x))

Yay!! Congrats to our Mogallanaian, we had hit the 4000 now!! We had about 4600++ if we add the lotus that YuanYi had made. So we're left with 400 plus to go but we have to stop now. We can now only rely on VicTeo & Eve for the 400 x)) Thanks alot !!! Let's finish up all the lotus and helped other house if we have time okay !! But please please remember to study !! Exams are round the corner and I hope no one flunked it okay, and I hope I won't flunk it XD !

The folding of lotus will end on the 22/04/06 for our hse. All moga ppl will STOP folding the lotus except for eve and vic, as they dun have exams comin. I dun 1 2 c or hear any1 of u do the foldin aft 22/04/06. I say STOP means STOP. Exams are round the corner, i DUN 1 any1 of u FAIL ur mid yr exams. It will be hard for us to explain to ur parents, they may stop u from coming sbm too... For the long term sake... STOP FOLDING by 22/04/06!!!
However, u guys can still continue PIA the folding till 22/04/06. u guys can do together with other hses as all are doing the same project. Dun have this policy of my hse , ur hse or their hse. If sbmy cannot produce the required amount, its not 1 hse fault, its every1s' as all are being selfish by not helpin each other. At the end of the day, sbmy fails to meet the requirement cos every1 is not putting effort to help. If our hse met up with the requirement. offer help to the rest of the hse, e other hse may not 1 2 help us, but tt dosen't mean we cannot help them... rmb selflessness? think abt it... but till everythin ends after 22/04/06.
I repeat again... I DUN 1 2 HEAR or SEE ANY1 FOLD THE LOTUS AFTER 22/04/06(except eve and vic). IF I DO, I WILL STOP THAT PERSON FROM JOININ THE FUN AT VESAK AT ORCHARD. That 2 days will be his/her study days for the exams... If any1 question anything, refer them to me... thats all... enjoy the folding till 22/04/06!!!

Hmmm who is interested to meet up on Friday to finish our products?! Since Ian had invited us to watch their pratice at PKS LOLS! , who is interested to watch it while folding the lotus?! Sorry it's going to be very tough period for us to be busy with our school stuffs and the folding of lotus, but let's do it once and for all and finished it up. Try asking all your classmates to help out in this because I got mine and this make me realised that they're really very helpful which I did not know from the first 3 months. Well, this show that this is a very good thing to do, it can make you concentrate, realise how helpful your friends are, and giving you to aspire for peace.
So, Friday who is interested to meet up to finish the lotus?? Please give me replies, I need it x))

HEY EVERYONE!
Sorry for not posting for quite some time. Busy folding lotus and i believe that it is the same for many others. Even though our group has the most members in secondary school, busily mugging homework and tests, i would really appreciate if u guys can help in the lotus folding. Please do not mistake this statement as a reason to neglect your studies. Studies are very important and hence they come first, but if u have any free time do ask us for some paper and let the folding begin!
Actually we are still very far from our target which is 5k by this friday, however I believe that we can do it; if there's a will, there's a way. We have learnt about Faith,Mindfulness,Right Effort,Wisdom last Saturday and im sure it can be put to use. Nevertheless, although it might be time that quantity over quality takes place, do remember that we are doing this for a good cause so add in some sincerity and loving kindness while making them. Please don't fold them because we have to hit the target or becuase of the reward. They are just to drive us to go further but the meaning in each lotus should still remain :)

Hmmm I'm sorry that I haven't been updating about the recent activities. Too busy with stuffs around already, hasn't been updating my own blog too. I'm sorry about it =( Well, I'm back to update about it, shall start with my birthday celebration which we had an outing to Plaza Singapura's Swensen. Had our FrenchFries & an Earthquake icecream. Played around with the food and the punishment is to eat it up. xD Finished everything and shopped around with Evelyn while the guys went to have their Long John Silver. After everything, went to take neoprint. That was the most funny part where everyone started to get panic because the time given is so little, with the little space given & we need to keep changing the position. After that, some went home & some went to arcade.

On the Good Friday, went to SBM for the pratice and some bad news were told. Our Dance will be called off due to our academic, they want us to study well for our academic & not spending too much time on the dance, so they chose 10 people for the Dance. Results are out : ZhenFeng, ZeYan, Clorine, Pearly, Alvin, Ian, JiaYi, Michelle, Lincoln & Victor Teo. Congratulation to them x))
Those who are not selected, don't be disappointed, let's help up in the Big Project that is the "Project Million Lotus." We started our Lotus late thus, it's still a long way before we finished our 5000 Lotus. Our deadline is this coming Saturday 22nd April. Please please please do help fold, we're having an Folding Lotus group tomorrow. If you're free & happened to pass by this blog, please do call me. I'm sorry this information came late because it's a last minute decision and I didn't manage to blog about it due to time constraint. I'm sorry~

After that we had our lunch in the Kopitiam, we were happily eating when the electricity went off. LOLS ! After that it rained, so all of us were stuck at the Kopitiam. Brandon brought a umbrella, so Eugene & another guy whom I forgotten is who, took the food and went back. They managed to bring another 2 more umbrella for us x)) Thanks alot guys !!
Although we had a umbrella, but all of us are still drenched !! I must really thank Ryan because he sacrifice himself to prevent us from getting wet but yet all of us are still wet. ShiXiong went up to the cupboard and helped us with the new T-Shirt from the past camp. Thanks ShiXiong =D
Had our Lotus Folding Session while some went for the B box Karaoke Session, after everything went out to Wisma to eat and head over to Takashimaya. We saw a group playing their Truth or Dare, a guy & a girl is supposed to do a dare and had to sing "Father Abraham" infront of the fountain. So, we decided to play Truth or Dare. We were supposed to say the Truth because of our Precepts~!! So everything is out on that night x)) But we promised not to say out anything x))

The next day, they had their study group but I wasn't there as I had my girl guide East Division Day. Hmmm, so I went for the sharing session. ShiXiong & Hong Li were teaching us how to sell the Camp. =D !! Our targets - Captain - 4 people, Leaders - 2 people, Members - 1 people. When we reached our target, we will be given some treats =D
We ended the session with our HangQi's birthday celebration x)) Sorry HangQi, due to budget constraint there's only one cake. Sorry!! After that we started our Folding Session again, while we were folding, we had fun here and there. Hi, I'm back to update about our activites this week. =D
Had our own study group on Friday, due to alittle bit of here and there things that they can't come, it just become the 3 of us who went to library. Met Lincoln & we studied together. Changed our venue to Bugis Village Mac as the library is closing. We really did study, so whoever is interested in joining our own study group, please do tell us =D

As usual had our RollarBlading at East Coast while others went to have their soccer match with the F.C Farmers. Didn't manage to take any pictures as I'm at East Coast and they are at Serangoon, I can't be able to teleport over there and just take a pictures of two of them =(( Sorry~
Had our Raymond Tham as the first timer this time, he did a great job =D He managed to blade with us with the help of Victor Teo. He had been trying very hard to teach us all the brake, turning & stuffs and I managed to learn the turning part =D Met afew of our Manjusri Friend and thus, the other managed to get to know alittle about them.

Didn't managed to get all to come down today, alittle disappointed because some didn't come last minute while some didn't even tell us at all when they're not coming, but overall it's stil okay. Shall hope that just on one particular day that everyone will be there. I hope ~
Had our sharing session as usaual, it's on how much do we know about Buddhism. Thanks to our ShiXiong for the presentation, had a few content on the slides that was similar to somewhere that I've heard before, but couldn't recall was it that I heard it from school or there =D
Important!!
Had our Meeting today, we're going to have our Vesak @ Orchard on the 6th & 7th of May, 40 dancers & 20 bladers are to be choosen. Clorine will be leading the bladers, while ZhenFeng, ZeYan, Clorine & Pearly will be leading the dancers. This is a very crucial period for us & it's the most important times for us. Please do take note about this, if the number of people that is in the dancing is less than 40, everything will be called off, so we will be in Camp Ehi-Passiko & still Camp Ehi-Passiko.
Leaders please just ask your members to just try to come, we need them alot =D Though I know that mostly of the leaders are present but this is just a reminder =D We shall just do this once and for all at our very best. As we are left with afew weekends to the Vesak @ Orchard, we really have to pratice hard on our dance and brush up on our steps. We really need alot man power during this Vesak, so please please please just persuade your members okay =D I will try to help out in asking afew of them like YingHui since we are in the same school but it doesn't mean that you doesn't have to ask her, you still have to ask her too =D
After the Vesak @ Orchard, we will be having our Vesak @ SBM on the 12th May from 9am to 9pm that will be conducted by our Vice Captains, they are supposed to be thinking up a game for it. But just another reminder is that, you must remember about the making of 5000 Lotus, choosing the people for the cleaning of cars, helping out in the booth for our camp at the PKS side.
The next day, we will be having our SBM day from 9am to 4pm. The details of it will be coming later. As for now, we must concentrate on our dancing part and brush up them. Although the Vesak day is important but our studies are important too, if you couldn't manage the time please tell ZhenFeng & all who can help in your studies. We're still having our Study Group on Every Saturday at 12.30 so you can ask them at that time.
As for the Study Group, we cannot afford to be late, please be punctual and reach there by 12.30. We will be self-studying till 2, have around 10 minutes break after that & 10 minutes meditation before procceeding to ask the others about the questions that we don't understand. The times is already set, so please don't be late. We must have our commitment & punctuality now, as like I said this is a crucial period for all of us.
So our training for the dance pratice will be on every weekend, Saturday after our Sharing from 7pm to 9pm, while Sunday, it will be at 2pm to 5pm. It will be eating up our Good Friday as well as Labour Day. Please don't think that why should I come back when I can have holiday, please think of others who are coming back to teach us, they are having their holidays too but they are taking an efforts to come back to teach us. I had already cancel our outing for the Good Friday, still thinking that I can go out and celebrate my birthday after the East Coast but it's just too bad, times is not enough. So I had already given up all this things & others are coming back to teach already, so what more can you think? As for this two days, we will be starting our dance from 10am SHARP~ Please don't be late, remember our commitment & the punctuality.

Sorry, HangQi had changed the venue for the study group on Friday. We are going to Bugis Library to study. No more changes anymore =D ! I'm sorry for the inconvenience that had caused.
Okay, these few months are got to be a tight months for us, had our Vesak@ Orchard on the 6th & 7th May, had our Vesak@ SBM on the 12th & 13th of May and followed by our Annually Prequel Camp on the 29th May - 1st June. I know that exams are coming round the corner during the May period, but please remember & keep it in mind that studies come first. If you really want to join us, please do make sometimes before & after the meeting to study.
We are having a study group tomorrow at 6.30 at Bugis that is and on Saturday at 12.30 at sbm. The Friday one is organised by us, got to be a small group among ourselves but if you are keen to join us you are welcome. We shall have a very big Study Group on Saturday which is organised by KaiYi. Loads of people are going down early to study together.

Hmm... though late abit... but Happy Birthday Yuan Yi!
the ren ci hospital visit was really cool...always have the fear of going to home visits cos i always dunno wad to do there... well i guess i had some changes undergone within myself.. attached myself with a 91 y.o. malay who looked llike 70.. gosh... if only i can look young like him...
Realise that i cant bring myself to do uncle hopping.. cos i want to give special attention to one.. not hop around... otherwise not sincere at all leh... very fake.. and i really want to understand him and talk to him...
Talked to laura.. hee.. she told me the younger ones were very ready to help while the older ones cluster together.. ha.. i would have done so if i were their age.... I guess attaching to one elderly and start talking to them helps... the first step is always the most difficult.. but when first step is made.. second step follows...
Promised the uncle i will go visit him when i am at the area... i wonder when will it be.. i guess i just have to make the first step...

Hmmm, to our dearest Mogallanians~ We will have a study group on Friday but we must see who is interested in studying in SBM on the Friday Night. Okay we had a last minutes outing as I left my calculator with Evelyn so she said that we could meet up and she'll pass to me so I requested we shall go East Coast Park to pratice our Rollar Blading, tried asking alot of people but only our 3 realms can make it, but we did ask other peoples like Ivan & Wei Qi to join us too, I hope their group don't mind because we just ask them to join in the fun =D So we were playing around and Ivan was infront of me and he was making his rollar blade when he shouted, " MONEY!! " So we went to pick it up and it's $5 dollar.
We really played alot and FuZhong had master it and he just use one day to learn it while our dearest Forester is still quite okay, there's one time when it started raining heavily, so we tried to contact Victor Teo, was very worried for his safety and stuffs because it's really raining heavily and I'm afraid that he will have no shelter so decided to go out to find and he said that he needed the blades so we went back to take and went to find him. On the way there, FuZhong shouted, " Don't step, there's a bird " So Ivan was shocked and he just faster avoid it and we came back to pick it up, was trying very hard to warm it while heading over to Victor to pass him the blade. Finally, we had passed to him and we just head back to the Mac to get the receipt and went over to the shop to return the blades.
We really had a wonderful day, had fun and stuffs. Who would like to join us next time, please do tell either of us but it's better to tell either Evelyn and Me so that we can pass the messages to you straight. You can join us even your skills are not that good or rather you don't know how to blade and stuffs. You can tag in the tagboard to tell us too =D !! Okay Pictures are here x))
