Luck. What exactly on earth is that? Who can explain that? Actually, even i , also thought that Luck is present around us. Many people prayed hard for Lady Luck during exams or even for lucky draws. However, who on earth can describe or explain what is luck?

The dictionary defines luck as 'believing that whatever happens, either good or bad, to a person in the course of events is due to chance, fate or fortune.'The Buddha denied this belief completely. Everything that happens has a specific cause and there must be some relationships between the cause and the effect. But no relationship can be found wearing a piece of paper with words written on it and being rich or passing examinations.

Buddhism teaches that whatever happens does so because of a cause or causes and not due to luck, chance or fate. People who are interested in luck are always trying to get something- usually more money and wealth. The Buddha teaches us that it is far more important to develop our hearts and minds.

1000 years later, our bond would still remain unchanged; our heart will still beat as one..

We wholeheartedly take refuge in the Buddha and respect the Buddha as our teacher.
We wholeheartedly take refuge in the Dharma and pratice the Noble teaching
We whole heartedly take refuge in the Sangha and accept the guidance of the Sangha
We pledge to cultivate kindenss, to keep right speech and to do good deeds
With the blessing of the Triple Gem,
May our wisdom grow for the betterment of our conduct and study.
May our deeds be filled with loving kindness and compassion
May all beings attain the State of Calmness,Peace, Prosperity and Happiness.
